  • For supplementary cardholders, your existing Trust debit card will now be your supplementary card. Once your supplementary card is approved, your card will automatically be paired to your supplementary card. To use Trust card as a debit card instead, you can switch the card pairing anytime on your Trust App by tapping View and manage card > Card pairing.

  • When the main cardholder sends out the supplementary card invite, the main cardholder sets a spending limit for the supplementary cardholder. This spending limit refers to the maximum amount that the supplementary cardholder can spend in a calendar month, and the supplementary cardholder's available balance will reset at the start of the calendar month to the spending limit as long as it does not exceed the main cardholder's available balance. If the main cardholder's available balance is lower than the pre-set spending limit, the supplementary cardholder's available balance will follow the main cardholder's available balance.

  • Even after opening a supplementary card account, the main cardholder can continue to spend up to the credit limit, as long as there is sufficient available balance. For instance, if the main card has a credit limit of $10,000 and the supplementary card has a spending limit of $1,000, the main card's credit limit will remain as $10,000, and the main cardholder can spend up to the credit limit as long as there is sufficient available balance.

When a supplementary card transaction is made, the available balance will decrease accordingly for both the main and supplementary cards.

  • Yes, the main cardholder can do this by going to Trust App > Money > View and manage card > Supplementary card > Manage > Change spending limit. Please note that this change will take effect immediately.
