Growing with our community

Back in March, we wanted to say thank you to our community for helping us to reach our 500k customer milestone. So, we partnered with the Ministry of Social and Family Development’s Social Service Office@Ang Mo Kio and Yishun to reach out to lower-income families under the Community Link (ComLink) initiative which supports families with children living in rental housing.

Since then, our team has been busy visiting 500 families in need living in Ang Mo Kio and Yishun, supporting ComLink’s incredible social service officers as they went about their work with the local community.

We were touched by how the families were trying their best to make ends meet especially at a time when rising prices are creating challenges for many households. It was great to be able to help them moderate their cost of living with a gift of $100 FairPrice vouchers to each family.

For our staff, it was truly an unforgettable experience and another way for us to become more deeply entrenched in the fabric of Singapore.

Social Service Office@Ang Mo Kio and Yishun’s General Manager Gail Tan, said: “On behalf of our 500 ComLink families in Ang Mo Kio and Yishun, the SSO would like to thank Trust for their contributions. Besides the practical benefit of the vouchers that were gifted by Trust, the interactions and conversations that Trust staff had with the families left an indelible impression.

MSF has dedicated 2023 as the Year of Celebrating Social Service Partners (YCPartners) and this collaboration with Trust highlights how corporates can leverage their existing assets and skill sets to make a difference in the lives of ComLink families.”

Dwaipayan Sadhu, Chief Executive Officer of Trust, said: “We are so humbled and grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community in such a meaningful way. The Trust team was deeply touched by the conversations that we had with the families, and we hope that the vouchers which we distributed will help them with their daily expenses.”
